The Ucap system includes a range of soft, high strength ROV, or diver, or surface installable and/or removable subsea mud and debris caps available in sizes that to now have ranged from 2”-36” (dia.) with lengths up to 7 meter that is available for purchase.
Surface installed, ROV removable, high strength tear and wear resistant vertical mounted subsea debris cap for protection off and debris ingress prevention in subsea equipment (e.g. drill cutting accumulation in ROV tooling interfaces or funnels). Includes very high load capacity closing feature, and it is released with a single pull (i.e. ROV).

ROV installed debris cap with the primary function to prevent accumulation of drill cuttings and other debris on a horizontal mounted wing hub clamp blind cap during drilling and completion operations. The secondary function is to provide protection. The cap is installed by the ROV from above lowered down onto the wing hub blind clamp.

Since the Ucap is buoyant when passing through the splash zone, it is deployed in an Ubas ROV basket, and secured with a tensioned cargo strap that includes Ustrap release lock. A single ROV pull on the lock release the cap.
